1. move to Button or option for drones
2. merge fleet & merge Group Buttons
3. AI to be more aggressive in using planet
invasions
4. Simplified stat screen where it shows total
losses for you and other AI/players, where
don't have to go each indiviual ship, but
you would see the total DN's, CA,s etc
5. AI have counter defensive strategies/
formations to help against human players
6. Sats to have ability to be moved over planet
indiviualy or by Groups instead of all located
in 1 place
7. planet defenses to have longer range then a
ship
8. Inaccurate/false/deceptive readings on opponet
in diplomacy sceen as to capabilities,
strength, etc, unless either higher tech in
intel or partnership is realized/obtained
9. Monster type race/s (swarm etc)

1) Is that not the same thing as waypoints?
7) There are mounts to increase the range of all stationary objects in both gold and many mods, IIRC.

SJ, #1 probably, but would depend on how the
move to or waypoints would be defined in game
they could be the same or be different,
example only, and only my opinion, A waypoint
to me means in order to get from one location
to another you 1st have to send it to Point A
before it could go to Point B, From Point B
to point C etc. A move to button, you just
point to position and your ship goes there,
stops until you give another order or point
at another location. The difference, pls this
is only my opinion, Is that 1 way you have to
send unit to designated spot before it could
proceed to a 2nd, the other you just point
and move, you wouldn't have to go to A then B
before you got to C.
#7, I know but would be nice if incorporated
into original game without having to be
modded (but still be moddable)

Uh, we already have that. How are you moving your ships around without the "M" key or moveto button in the command bar?

BTW, waypoints in SE4 don't work like you described. They're simply saved move-to locations. So if you want the ship to go to a then b then c, you order it to A, then B, then C. You can do that (probably best to) all in the same turn.

Doooh, my fault, I should have mentioned that I meant a move to button for Drones, I apoligize and I usually just point and clik to move my ships, I don't use the M button, sorry for any confusion I caused, (my age is showing again)
I will edit my post. sorry

Sol III [All System Facs]

- then fill it with only cargo facilities and max out on minefields and defenses...

Doing that in multiplayer would be bad for your planet's health..
