Let's not forget there was a Hind shot down by Paveway GBU during the Desert Storm

IIRC, back in SP2, I saw once aircraft attack a helo (in normal gameplay) but was pretty rare event. Anyway, air is more useful usually at ground pounding.
As for helos, if no SAMs available, recommend AA machineguns in large enough concentrations.
