FWIW it is on our To-do list but both Andy and I have time constraints this time around. He's back at university and the time available to devote to coding are very severely restricted.

We should be able to fix all the little "buggy" items like this for the next release but don't expect a whole lot of new things, just tweaks. The biggest tweak so far is going to be for un-observed arty. We'll tell you more about that when we are ready to release the upgrades

I just asked Andy and he said it he'd fixed it awhile back.

Just tested with the latest EXE and I can confirm that you will find that smoke will now be re-issued to core troops on both sides after the first battle in PBEM campaigns when the next patch goes out
