Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
Everyone would be very wise to watch LA TC's province count. There is a highly opportunistic power play in progress at the moment.

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
Hmm, I'm trying to watch a battle I had this turn, and it crashes at a certain point every time. Are there any known battle replay crash bugs?

Wow, that's odd. I had a Scout there, and I had a CTD during the replay as well. It was so long, I just reloaded and didn't bother trying to watch it again.

It worked fine for me, if we are talking about the same battle.

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
We should be, I only had one battle this turn against anything other than scouts.
I tried to watch it twice, but the second time I applied liberal use of 'n' to skip ahead :P Anyway, I don't appear to have lost anything that mattered, it just would have been nice to actually see the battle. Should I add this to the bug thread/submit my turn file to illwinter?

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
Last turn or two turns ago, I had a battle that I couldn't watch also. It would CTD on the 4th or 5th round everytime.

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
Did the game get delayed again? I thought we were due for a turn by now...last I checked it said: turn due saturday 0:00gmt
Also, can we set Man to AI? He's staled for the last 5 or so turns after he started losing...

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
Yes, I was rather annoyed. I asked both francis and Fakey to set man to AI - neither did. I have arranged for it to happen, but we are on delay until that happens.
Also, Fakey has bowed out of all games and we are attempting to locate a sub for him. He has a solid position. So if you know anyone... help spread the word. If we can't find one in a day or so, I will restart the countdown.

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
I got a hosting in 6 hours msgs even.
speaking of which can we set the msg time to at least 12 hours, maybe even 18? usually the message hits while I'm asleep or away from the comp and is not that helpful...
Thanks,

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
Reuters, Newswire:
A followup to an earlier rumour, there is now independent confirmation of the machinations of the nation previously referred to as "LA T'ien Ch'i". While simultaneously vulturing both sides of the Machaka vs Jomon conflict, the TC sacred cavalry specops, assisted with artifact weapons, are rapidly gobbling up the vulnerable seas, and they have been said to have designs on the lands of the now beleaguered MA Pythium.
Will this menace ever be stopped? Who will find the Khan's weakness? This reporter does not have the answers - all that is known is that Machaka has sworn to continue to cause grievous damage to the armies of Jomon, while T'ien Ch'i plunders their lands and coffers. And since T'ien Ch'i has all but declared war on Jomon already, it is quite obvious that there is a god with a plan to ascend - and that no other ascension plan is feasible, unless it includes provisions to stop this rising star.
