So, being adjacent to a fire hex does effect moral similiar to being in it? I think this answers my question because suppressed units are easier to spot.

Fire hexes - can cause damage and suppression from being in one, nothing outside one.

Friendly wreck hexes - cause S to friends nearby (burning or not).

Own Supression - does not affect the chance of being spotted. (Unless og course you are now retreating as a result = moving )

Do wrecked buildings and cratered landscapes effect suppression? What about just plain old smoke? What I'm trying to say: does a horrifying destroyed city effect the troops.
Do enemy wrecks cause a morale rise among friendlies that are close by, like: "Ah ha, see how invincible we are". The defeated enemy is piled around.
