I also remember seeing this game a few years ago. I think it would be great if a remake was done on this game. I don't know how it compares with some of the other naval games out there, but it would be a good addition.

Gents: I have two mod files from Jun 2007 built for winSPMBT 3.5. Both in french by Welk--they seemed to be more 'skins' than full mods. Steel Empire was modern naval combat and is 31M with a scenario posted in Jul. Steel Men and Wooden Ships mod was about the age of sail and is about 12M. I posted it here. Paladin

I hope someone with more smarts then myself can make this happen down the road. There are a couple of really good online multi-player games out there. Just the thought gets me excited for the possibilities of seeing this! I miss SSI's Sixth Fleet and an WinSP Naval game would be awesome! I feel the urge to launch ADCAP Mk48's at something!!
