Well, I don't own the copy I'm using, it's a loaner from a friend who's moved on to other things (in return for loaning him my SMAC/Alien Crossfire XPac -- so the rebate wouldn't be entirely honest of me to claim.

I like it enough I'll probably be buying a copy anyway -- probably, umm ... in september (bills in july, g/f's birthday in august ...). But waiting until then to be able to even start in a Gold-Version game will hurt.
