More seriously, that is one of my concerns with this mod (I am playing it now in another game). It seems like the optimal path to success is to take an SC pretender. Although I think that the mod originator (dude with a ball, Elmoki or something?) is trying to tweak the available chasis a bit to make other strategies more viable.
