I see enough interest to get started on the map. I will try to have it finished by the weekend. It would be nice to have a couple more shipsets for the universe, maybe Naboo and Yevethan to name a couple. Although Star Wars was mainly about the struggle between the Rebels and the Empire, I think it would be interesting to add more species and spread the war, so to speak.

Any Star Wars game has to have the Yuuzhan Vong (sp?), but whomever plays as them should be the strongest player, which rules me out. As it is, I'd love to join, but sadly have no time to do so.

IMHO, it would be best to pick an era of SW history, and use cultures/shipsets only from that time period. For instance, the Vong would have no business being in a Classic Era game, or a Prequel Era game. Similarly, the Imperial Remnant should not be in a Classic Period game, and the Rebels shouldn't be in a Prequel Era or Sith Empire era game.
Naturally, this has to be compromised to some extent, else it would be very hard to fit the Golden Age Sith into any game. (Anyone want to make a Tetan fleet shipset?) Or you could just abandon all continuity and throw the Vong together with the Sith, or the Rebels with the Naboo.
Hey, has anyone made a Chiss empire/shipset for Star Wars? Now that would be sweet.

Singollo, picking a specific time frame would lower the number of player slots in the game. 
Hmm... Yuuzhan Vong... they sound intersting. Maybe I should play them instead... |

Does anyone want to add the Force to the game? I'd have to correct some bugs found in my Force Mod but it won't take much.
