Got to admit I am a bit confused here.
Your start line 30 so I would assume a map 100 wide
If it was a meeting engagement AI start line would therefore be around the 70 hex mark.
But
Its an advance so AI start line is at the halfway point which is 50 hexes.
Just like yours would be if you were delaying.

So what I said originally stands

Its start line will be the same distance in as yours is for that type of battle, just measured from the other map edge
