Cool Re: Greek OOB31 v.9

Well, as for me, as a former modeller, I've put much attention to visual side since SP-1, and I'm sure I'm not the only one... Anyway, it's up to you, what you do with it.

---
To finish with vehicles:

15, 86 Fiat BL18 Truck [med truck/utility] - if we have it named, there's no mention about Fiat 18 in Greek army in TWH article nor on this page https://grvehicles.wordpress.com/category/1923-1939/
There were only light WW1 vintage Fiat 15, but in rather small number, especially towards end of 1930s.

A basic medium truck from 1930 on was Hansa-Lloyd (300 veh.) - it can be renamed so.
https://grvehicles.wordpress.com/201...d-4x2/#more-17
I'll attach a photo later, just in case

17 Chevy Hvy Truck - I think it should be named GMC (photo is GMC CCKW).

83 Mercedes-Benz G5 [utility] - bought already in 1938 (article in TWH and https://grvehicles.wordpress.com/201...gen-5/#more-29)

84 SdKfz 69 Protze [utility] - there is no info anywhere, that Krupps Protze were used (besides, SdKfz is wrong). It can be deleted, as there are other units in Utility vehicle class, with unit 86 covering all range.

There should be added Austin 8 utility vehicle instead (unit 286 from British OOB, with a name correction) - https://grvehicles.wordpress.com/2015/05/26/austin-8hp/ - around 200 were given by the British in a course of 1940 (late that year?)

90 Fiat 621 [med. truck] - there's no mention about Fiat 621, but 1.2t Fiat 618 were bought in 1936 (rather utility veh. than medium truck)
https://grvehicles.wordpress.com/201...t-618/#more-23
Might be deleted anyway.

91 Fiat SPA 35 [med. truck] - photo should be 16115 (now it's light CL 39). Name should be SPA Dovunque 35
https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPA_Dovunque_35
32 were given by the British.

93 Fiat SPA 38R [hvy truck] - photo is a heavy cab-over-engine Fiat 626, while Spa 38 was a conventional 2.5t medium truck
According to https://grvehicles.wordpress.com/201...carro-spa-38r/ only 25 were given by the British in 1940 (now 1/39)

If we want a heavy truck, it can be replaced by Lancia 3Ro from IT OOB - 60 were given in 1940 (12/40?).

94 Mercedes LG65/3 [hvy truck] - a better name would be just Mercedes LG, because LG65/3 (LG2500), LG63 (LG3000) and LG68 (LG4000) were used.

It is used among others in formation 270 Motorised Bty - but in fact, trucks towed only AA guns in Greek Army (both heavy and light guns), not field guns...

As I mentioned for unit 52 88mm FlaK 36, it was in fact acquired around 1938, along with Mercedes trucks, so a formation 83 Heavy AT Gun /M might be available much earlier - but I guess nobody thought of using them against tanks...

Formation 275 Cavalry Mot AA should be equipped with heavy trucks - light AA guns were scarce, and Mercedes trucks were bought especially in this purpose.

342 Fiat Art. Mover - there were no trucks towing guns in Greek Army until 19th Motorized Division in 1941.
It can be replaced with a prime mover Pavesi P4, used from 1935 (unit 422 from Italian OOB), although it was rather meant for guns of 105mm and more.
https://grvehicles.wordpress.com/201.../pavesi-l-140/
https://grvehicles.wordpress.com/201...si-p4/#more-25

For 85mm guns, halftracks Somua MCG5 were bought in France in 1936 - could be copied from French 165 Citroen-K P17 with speed 10 and maybe other photo

Default Re: Greek OOB31 v.9

Navy:

62 3in Naval Gun - photo is Hunt class destroyer with 4in guns. There were indeed six boats with 3in guns before the war (A-1 - A-6) - better picture is eg. 17090

64 4.7in Naval Gun
191 Destroyer DD
- Hydra class destroyers with 120mm guns were used from 11/32 only (now 1/30).
Photo is Hunt class destroyer with 4in guns.
A photo of Hydra class is here http://www.navypedia.org/ships/greece/gr_dd_hydra.htm or I'll attach one

63 4in Naval Gun,
190 D. Escort DE
- it's actually the same, with a different photo only. Maybe it's worth to make unit 63 available until 12/43 (pictured Aetos class destroyers), and unit 190 from 1/43 (pictured Hunt class destroyers)? During 1943 there were both available.

192 Lt Cruiser CL - photo should be 16229 - of Greek Elli cruiser. She was sunk in 1940, but I guess it can be British support afterwards.

150,151 Patrol Ship, Escort Ship - alas, Greek navy had no such powerful patrol ships. One could be A-1 class patrol boat, with 3in gun and one MG (eg. weapon 144) - all lost in 4/41. Better picture is eg. 17090, better icon for such a small craft eg. 703

Only from 5/45 British Fairmile B ML's were used (1x40mm, 2x20mm, 4 MG) - might be photo 2069 from the British OOB

For a period between the two ships, unit 154 Merchant Marine could be extended.

That's all, I guess.
