What - you get your wish, and now you complain?

It's a problem with many of the maps, imo (for instance, Aran is in desperate need of some official #nostarts, the MiddleEarth map is, etc), and only excerbated when you put 17 nations into a map that is really suited for fewer.
Having capitals as VPs just brings us back to another serious flaw, imo, which is that capitals should not show up as VPs. For that matter - VPs should need to be scouted, or at least a switch for it.

And we're off to a very fun start. The first turn is done. I prophetize early death to at least one waternation.

Whoops, didn't realize I was holding turn 2 off for about a full day or so. Sorry, people. First time experiencing the miracle of quickhost. First proper multiplayer game, too.
At least the score graphs say I'm not the only nation still stuck with one province.

Also, upon analyzing My First Diplomatic Missive, I appear to be channeling the Utwig from StarCon II. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

No worries there. This is a dedicated slow game, after all, and I think you where still about 2000 minutes good to take a turn.
Still, I wholeheartedly recommend bookmarking Esben's brilliant status site to see any games you need to take a turn. I know it's about the first thing I open when going Online.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow game? *full and running**
Hi all,
my wife get some unexpected holidays so probably I'll have to move away from the net from 13-08 to 22-08 ... I have tryed to find someone who could take my place for this 5 turns in the circle of friend I used to play Dom2, but I was unlucky ... I'll play until 12-08 and after that, if I don't find anyone who could take my place for 9 days (just 4-6 turns) I'll have to revert to AI controlled.
I'm very sorry about that becouse I really like that slow game ... I hope to find someone before my left ... if some one of you have a frined interessed to play just 4-6 turns of C'tis, please, drop me an email at liga(AT)treemme(DOT)org
good play
