Just in case someone missed the announcement: Maverni overwrote my GoNB this turn ... with the ARCANE NEXUS! FYI it's at least on the order of 250 gems strong. The druids need to be taken down, quickly! |

Maybe we should officially increase the hosting interval to five days or something along that lines? Seems we end up with that anyway... |

 All,
Just want to apologize for the recent delays. I've had a couple crazy RL problems over the past few weeks. I think they're starting to wind down and I should be back in full dom 3 form soon.

 All,
I also changed the hosting interval to 72 hours. Although I've been pretty liberal granting extensions. I'm generally just following the rule: if were within 12-18 hours of hosting and a number of turns haven't been submitted or if one of the big ones (Tien, Pangea, Sauro, or myself) is missing I delay for another 24.

Should I be more draconian and just let it host? Opinions?

I say your game, your call. Generally I don't babysit like that most of the time...I prefer for players to ask, but that's just me. I'm ok either way. |

I think I'd prefer hosting unless asked with the 72h timer.
Gives the option of submitting partial turns and resubmitting as you go with less risk of the turn suddenly hosting. Nothing more annoying then a stale with a mostly-finished .2h on the drive. If the deadline keeps moving back, on the other hand, it tempts me to procrastinate.

It's great when your enemy had a global up for half the game that conveniently grew an army for you across his entire nation.
 Pangea's Enchanted forest...arcane domination...more astral mages than I know how to use...nice

Any idea what's happening with Pan? Can't have a valid game with them (a very large presence) staling.-ssj
