Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)
in other news, it's real nice that you guys actually said what the decision was... I was refraining from making my new turn until I heard whether we're rolling back again or not, and now I see that the game hosted.
also "Reminder: Rock_the_Cradle hosting in around 2 hours" 2 hours, really??? yeah, like that helped, especially when these 2 hours were when I was still sleeping...

****, didn't notace you had stalled. My oppologies.
I postponed the game 24 hours. that is probably what caused the strange 2 hour notification.

Since a stale is always really bad at this point in the game, we could always have a roll back... You know... For you :3
Also: Someone in the chat was kind enough to explain globals and dispelling. Essentially its only the amount of gems and levels over the base that matters
I cast...
Arcane Nexus with a S8 Mage at 171 Pearls
Global Power = 21
Pangaea Cast...
Carrion woods with a N? mage at (#>90) Nature Gems
Global Power = Over 21
Therefore, his global easily erased mine. I don't feel as bad now knowing that there is a system. But God DAMN that sucks. There goes 171 pearls for nothing. The lessons this game teaches sometimes are brutal. Lesson learned. Don't save all your gems for many many turns, then convert them into pearls for a global.

yeah I was the 1 to explain it to you, was just wrong with the mage level into additional gems bonus. and no, I don't want a rollback just for me, just for 1 stale, but I know you were cynic about it so I forgive you :P

That's not nearly as bad as the one you did on me... you actually gained units, you freak of nature lol.
It's amazing to see the difference between first and second MP games... I've learned a lot from my first (this one) because of all the horrible, horrible mistakes I've made, which makes my second game much stronger. Still, I see new things every day; this game has a whale of a learning curve.

Re: Rock the Cradle--Noob Only! (RUNNING)
D'oh! Sorry about the stale... I've got extra kids staying over, so I missed the reminder email. Honestly, it can't make much difference, as I've only got a few units left, but I still feel badly about it.

So Iyae has arcane nexus up. It might be a good idea to give me gems to dispel it? Certainly, he is extremely dangerous with a delicious combo of Arcane Nexus AND the steel ovens
