Abyssia\'s Missing Warlock (Pretender)
As several people have noted in passing elsewhere, the Warlock pretender is no longer available under the 1.11 patch.
Given that this was Abyssia's only nation-specific pretender, I'm curious if the Warlock's disappearance was intentional (ie, Illwinter decided it was overpowered in being too easy to make an innately 100% fire immune wizard pretender with high blood and other magics), or if it's akin to Jotunheim's Abyssian troops in 1.08.
I really hate seeing nation-specific pretenders go away, as I think there should be more of them, at least for races like Machaka that have non. (Similarly, Machaka is perhaps the only nation with absolutely no themes, albeit I'm not sure about the aquatics or Mictlan.)
All ye would-be Abyssians and Machakans, rise up in protest of these egregrious discriminations!

Sounds like a mistake, probably some effect of the new sorting?
But did they not add the ability to mod in new pretenders? If so it is probably a very simple mod to put them back in.

It's probably just a bug. You can still make a Great Warlock by creating him with 2.08, though, in theory.

Re: Abyssia\'s Missing Warlock (Pretender)
The Warlock is the new Utgård bug. There has to be one pretender design bu in every patch you know
This one is easier to fix though. It is easy to make a Warlock mod with the improved modding tools. I'm away for the weekend, but after that I might make one if no one has beaten me to it.
Pretenders can be restricted to nations with the new modding tools.

Re: Abyssia\'s Missing Warlock (Pretender)
BTW speaking of Abysia I just noted that with 2.11 the Oracle and Blood Fountain are now selectable as Pretenders. They were *not* in 2.08, I don't know if they were before, but the change is undocumented AFAIK.
I'm happy with the change, it gives Abysia a 0-cost pretender with good Dominion

That's true, but doesn't necessarily help w/ the Warlock for MP games, given that it's difficult to get all the players (or, for instance, the mosehansen server) to agree to install and run the mod.
