Magic Site with Special Units/Effect wish:
Well ... we're in the Wishing Theme ... so here another topic.
What magic site would you like to see, especially with some special properties, or allowing to build a new unit.
I'm very fond in chivalry so I'm going to wish for ancient churches, templar krak ... to recruit priestly knights.
Well a daemonic order of knights on lava steeds should be nice too ...
These sites are nice stuff but are very rare ^^ I like a lot the existing ones with the stealthy heavy knights ^^ or the one with the fire lord or the battle mage.
I'd like to see more sites with scale effect modifier too ...

Hmmm... i guess i would like to see something like a center for enlightenment. Enter with a commander and one of the units in his command (or, since it would be smart, the only unit in his command) gets GoR cast on it.

Ancient Barrow. A commander could enter to loot it. Inside might be gems, gold, magic items, but there would also be a good chance that the one entombed or imprisoned within is not quite dead yet. Sometimes a battle would ensue, and if the barrow's inhabitant won it would stay in the province as an independent force.

Only feebleminded leaders can enter.
Effect: Sends a random Horror (80% Lesser, 15% standard, 5% Doom) to the designated province. There's a small chance (5%) the Horror will attack its summoner instead, or (15%) the attempt will misfire and trigger a random ritual targeted at a random province instead.
OFC, the site horror marks anyone who enters as well.

Would be nice to see some magic sites which require above 4 in the magic paths. Also magic sites which would provide gems but also increase the percentage chance of independent creatures attacking.
example = Wyvern Cliffs
+3 air gems
+2 earth gems
3% chance Independent Wyverns attack province (3 to 15 Wyverns)

I proposed the AAA Library long ago in the Dominions 1 era. And in Doms 2 we got that Void Gate and that Strange House that let you summon cthulhesque creatures at the risk of losing your brains. I like to think these facts are somewhat related.

IMO the main path for all things related to Cthulhu should be astral. Or maybe tainted astral.

Not bad. How about an opposite site - something like Astral Hospital - where you can summon more brains, but risk losing your creatures. Could be usefull for curing feebleminded affliction...

Actually... a Hospital that heals afflictions of all kinds would be very cool. I currently think theres not enough ways to heal afflictions. A few on your pretender early in the game and your god can no longer play an active role in his empire.
