Anyone need a newbie pbw player?
Finally I've decided to throw myself in it and try pbw... What finally pushed me into it was the feeling of disgust I got from playing Master of Orion 3
I am totally unfamiliar with how pbw works other than what I've read on seiv.pbw.cc (I have registered and read the faq's)...
so now I'm looking around for a new game or a game that needs a replacement player (call me cautious, but I feel nervous about finding a game full of veterans that needs a replacement player and just joining in suddenly... I keep thinking it's a empire that is defeated and will be removed by the owner, etc, etc)
So anyone want me then cry out
I'm not picky about what I play... I think it can be fun playing a weak underdog, fighting for every Last bit of space, not going down easily... and would also love games that have some off-game emailing "in character", sending Messages to the "puny organic life forms that needs to be cleansed"

A fellow Norwegian, Hei
If nobody taken the bait yet, join "A sweet Victory by summertime". It is a "light" RP game and the free empire is doing quite well.
And then there is always the KOTH league. The fast games are very nice for learning the basics in PBW.

Re: Anyone need a newbie pbw player?
Hi again,
The Sweet Mod is in there, check again
If you can't find it (PBW is acting a little strange at the moment), I can e-mail the mod to you.
But I can't promise to play "nice"

Re: Anyone need a newbie pbw player?
You need to wait for the games owner (Tesco) to approve you as a player.
Normaly you would get an e-mail with the approval, but that may not work at the moment. Maybe it is best to check in on the game once in a while. You would probably need to download the first turn manually, the download button will appear as soon as you are approved. You will also gain access to the games forum (does not work at the moment). Do your turn, remeber to be nice to the Earth Alliance (a gift of a planet is always appreciated ) . Upload your turn. Wait. And so on...

Re: Anyone need a newbie pbw player?
Until we get the problems resolved the new players will have to contact the PBW admins to get the new passwords. Make sure they know not to hit the update password button cause that will change the password that PBW thinks it is and it doesn't store old passwords.
Geoschmo
I believe you changed your password... Lets hope it is the same in the other game he was in.... So I will see what that one is....
