Hey Joe, long time no see. Hope life has been treating you well.
Anyways, I have a possible bug or two for you to have at, so to speak. When I start AC3 with the latest patch and then turn off the sound, everything works fine (I can start a game without sound). However, if I start a new game the sounds kick back in, with the in-game audio controls displaying that I have chosen the sound to be turned off. If I change the settings to on, and then to off again, the sound cuts out (like it should have been in the first place). Also, when disabling the sound and shutting down AC3 and then restarting the program, the sound effects/music reactivate even though the sound settings display off. Now when I mention sounds, I mean both game music and the sound effects. Also worth mentioning, although it has only happened to me once, is another possible sound bug: I had disabled both the game music and sound effects, like before, and when I crashed an airplane through normal play the explosion sound effect kicked in. I don't know if that was by design or if it is in fact a bug. These issues are merely "cosmestic" in my eyes but I would appreciate some sort of solution, as I am sure other members would if they are having the same problems. Let me know if you would like my system configuration or any other details.
Cheers,
Drunkard
P.S. I have all the latest drivers for my system.
