Dungeon Odyssey II Ideas
I thought it might be fun to toss around ideas for Dungeon Odyssey II while we kcik back between quests.
So far I had these ideas:
> Vehicles like airships, wagons, horses, boats, and such to explore the world and travel to new lands not to mention some small sidequests.
> Multiplayer quests where like a group of people can sign on to a host machine and explore the world together as a team or solo and compete against other teams and solo people.
> A world that changes during the game. This means like while I'm off raiding the dungeons, there might be an army of the undead attack nurted or maybe some firewyrm invades the castle behind me.

Yeah, I am really missing something like that in this Version. Being able to embark on a ship, at least.

I dunno. Somehow I don't see DO as a multiplayer game.

I wish we could do something similar already with using events and triggers. If any more effort is put into this game, my personal wish would be more triggers and event results.

I haven't tried it out yet, but from what I can see, I think vechile like effects can be added to items. I seem to recall seeing a field for type of movement (land, air, water, ethereal). So a Boat item with Water movement would allow a character to travel on the water.
Not sure if this is possible, but from what I did look through, I think it might be.
