Re: The 572th hardest choice in my life
They are also surrounded by an aura of frost greater than that of other units.
150 HP, hmm, it was probably your prophet, but you are right, they are almost godlike in power.

In practice, you can play with only super combattants. A vine shield would discourage mobbing for example. The possibilities are again 'exponentiated' with this original theme.
congrats to the dev team. Here again they surprise us nicely.
More specifically Daynarr, it reminds me of the description of the Illwinter spell, the one where it is said that the old big big giants, Ritumsar (I think, I'm not well versed in northern mythos) return, bringing with them frost and blizzards.
Can it be that there is something more about this in Doms II ? But I'm perhaps dreaming awake

Relying solely on commanders and numerous small ones will not be easy. Niefel Giants are deadly cold so they will need the dead to march by their side (they are well versed in the black arts) lest their followers freeze to death. Apart from the dead there are no small ones in Niefelheim.
Quite right on the Rimtursar legacy. Niefelheim was the land of cold and darkness. Home of the Rimtursar.
There might be more. As I said I have plans for an extraordinary map.

Re: The 572th hardest choice in my life
ok, so this will be a map with a northern mythology theme. Thats fine, as it is not a mythology we are well versed, we southrons
It surely asks for more scripting options, you do have something in mind about what you would need the most (I emailed you about what I think would be needed).

Re: The 572th hardest choice in my life
My response to your question, Pocus, is that I will choose a nation I liked in Dom I and play around with it's various themes enough to sate my curiousity and decide on one, and then play a full game with that themed nation to experience the differences in gameplay and interface. Then rinse, repeat with a different nation.
