Re: New SE3 race converted.
Does any one still play SE III?
I think I have the demo around someplace.

Re: New SE3 race converted.
I do on occasion. I like the research system better... But I know it is going to be changed in the new Version... It is one of the reasons that it took me so long to change to SE4.

Re: New SE3 race converted.
Oooo, very nice! The latest image you posted is one from my favorite SEIII shipset. I'll get that set when its completed, for sure!
Atrocities, yes some people still play SEIII. In fact, I'm playing a game right now. Its kinda tough when you give yourself 3 starting planets, and the AI 10....but I'm winning!

Re: New SE3 race converted.
Looks great!
...I haven't played SE3 in a long time. About a year ago, I started an SE3 game but I just couldn't get into it because I'm so used to SE4, so I quickly went back to SE4.

Re: New SE3 race converted.
Still some time until I finish this shipset.
In the meantime, please help me complete/correct this descriptions and recomend me an AI I can borrow.
Name := Memnorak Protectorate
Description := The Memnorak are large blue arachnoids with extreme skills on engineering.
Empire Name := Memnorak
Empire Type := Protectorate
Emperor Name := Trellak
Emperor Title := Supreme Preceptor
Biological Description := Physically Memnorak are large blue arthropods with a remarkable resemblance to spiders. Their leg span can reach up over 3 meters, but their bodies rarely surpass 1.5 meters. Their legs end on claws and scopulas that allow them to walk on ceilings and walls, an ability that has proven very useful in zero-G environments. Those claws also allow them to manipulate objects and use tools with any of their legs, although they are more dexterous with their delicate palps and with their chelicerae ended in those sharp and versatile fangs.
Society Description := To be made.... I don't want the stereotype of hive mind insectoids, and of course they don't have organic tech. I was thinking of something about how their multiple dexterous appendices give them the ability to easily build complex machines. And something like "It's hard to find a Memnorak without his toolbox.
General History Description := To be made.... Perhaps something related to human (and most races) phobias towards spiders leading to early distrust.

Re: New SE3 race converted.
Maybe some race views spiders as a delicacy, so that creates an entirely different form of tension?
