I don't think there are any compatibility problems using a 3.01 client with a 3.00 server. On the other hand, mods are a bummer to set up.
Is there anything in 3.01 that's actually worth having that makes it worth the effort?

Undead Ho!
Hehe... 1800 Undead camped outside my capital. Now this should be a fun battle!
Tsk tsk, I'm disappointed Agartha. After all that hard work taking my field armies down and you're letting Ermor have the grand prize.

Agartha, Ktonian dead, has utmost respect for undead, especially 2,000+ gathered in one province.
The invasion of your lands went perfectly by the way. I drew all your armies to the border with me and Ermor went in for the kill...

I checked the server about an hour ago and it was fine. I will check again.
Edit: Server is working fine, Agartha turn is in. Pangaea is about to stale.
