Re: Casual PBEM (looking for players)
waiting for Abysia and R'Lyeh
Sorlakind has let me know that he is a bit busy the coming 2-3 weeks, so there may be some delays for R'Lyeh
Jope that's ok with everyone, cause I would hate to have to find a replacement for him.

Re: Casual PBEM (looking for players)
Antrax the King of Banefires was killed by Rlyeh's troops - actually he was enslaved, but not being aquatic drowned at the end of the battle. If any nation wants to summon him, better do it this month - though I doubt anyone will take the offer. Sigh.
We would say the same thing about Oreigenes, but he *is* a poor amphibian, so now our mages have to endow him with a modicum of reason.
The conclusion that we can certainly draw from all this is that Machaka is positively *swimming* in gems and riches. The number of summons we have already killed and the objects looted (off the top of my head: crown of overmight, sceptre of dark regency, Amon Hotep, and these are just the unique ones) can only mean that they have hoards of gems and items. But it seems Rlyeh is the only nation to say NO to Machaka's militaristic and aggressive expansionist ways so this will continue until we can no longer hold them off. Oh well.

Re: Casual PBEM (looking for players)
I can only submit my turn by tomorrow night, 10-11pm (GMT time). Is that ok or is it too late? With all my busyness, I can hardly keep track of the deadlines.

*looks at game title*
Tomorrow night seems reasonable to me. (I don't generally mind waiting for someone as long as they let everyone know what's going on.)

Re: Casual PBEM (looking for players)
R'Lyeh, the nation of monsters, is almost impervious to harm, and grows in power through sitting cowardly in the water. I am currently the only one trying to stop the growing menace of mind meddlers. The losses I have taken far outweigh those taken by R'Lyeh. R'Lyeh is in possession of all 3 water queens, as well as otherworldy powers controlling the magics of sea and air alike. Their current loot from my war with them is not to be underestimated. I have layed eyes on their false god, and it does not bode well. A monstrosity of great power lurks the deep. In the mean while, I am sure their mystics ponder deeply, searching for new ways to dominate the minds of all.
I doubt if they can be stopped at all if not someone joins the effort, soon. I imagine a world without madness, and the thought of it soothes me deeply. Do you feel it too?

My master, Agon Agogon, The Gorgogon of Gon, has allowed me to leave my padded cell to respond to this piece of devilish propaganda.
I leave to everyone else the judgement of wether the epithet "coward" you thought fit to qualify us with is apt, but it is worth while to remember that underwater is our home and that we have never left it to attack other nations. We mind our business (which you cannot hope to fathom), that is it. Our actions are not dictated by your misplaced notions of courage. And calling your offensive "trying to stop the growing menace of mind meddlers" is a joke, and a bad one at that. Do I have to paste here for all to read the menacing words you have hurled our way?
About elemental royalty, you forgot to add -- for the sake of fairness -- that one of the Water Queens was yours and you've lost it. And at that point you had 2 Earth Kings, 1 Air Queen, 1 Fire King and Antrax, the Banefire King. And this is just the royalty we spotted, I could go on mentioning the globals you have up, or the unique items you have forged or the powerful creatures like abominations you have summoned.
But this is all moot. What I would like to do is congratulate you on having Arcoscephale join your offensive. Most probably, we will not be able to fend off such a combined attack. We always have the Void to go to as a last home. By the look of things, the other nations prefer to sit quietly and leave Machaka to its own devices. Looking out for their best interests, I am sure. However things may turn out, my sojourn on this curious plane of existence was a happy one.
Master, I am coming. Thou art near. So close.
