Re: The map that will never be
Shameless october bump !
In my heart, I know that if there haven't be any update on http://ulm.illwinter.com/dom3/dom3progress.html since 19th august, and still no patch with the listed changes, it is because the map is being finished, why would it take so long else ? ;P

Re: The map that will never be
I suspect it has a bit to do with Kristoffer's classes, and whatever the Secret Project is... I can't imagine a long cold Swedish winter going by without the need for creative projects such as this one, though. If Spring should arrive without some major communication from Illwinter, then I'll worry a lot more.

I know, I was mainly joking to justify my bump.
However, I'm still somewhat surprised that the new resolutions for net books have not been released yet, as them being listed on the progress page would seems to imply that they are already done and only need some beta testing. But as you write, real life can sometimes be hard to overcome ...

Re: The map that will never be
I was thinking that the netbook screen sizes just meant that either one of the Johans or Kristoffer had gotten a netbook. That doesnt mean WE are getting it anytime soon. Or maybe the holdup is that the new map has to be reworked for netbook size.
Its tempting to send Johan one of the new linux hand-held gaming portables and see what that does.

November bump - more out of a sense of tradition than any particular optimism.

Re: The map that will never be
Actually Im beginning to feel expectation because of the lack of response on this thread. Purely guesswork of course but Im fantasizing that it means that the new game project has:
A) progressed beyond the basic coding to need content for alpha testing
B) interesting enough and deep enough to totally absorb free-time from both Johan (coding) and Kristoffer (graphics, content)
