EmpiresRising MA game for new players - started - Page 2

I seem to be having a problem- I received the first turn file, created a directory for it in my savedgames and attempt to load it up via "play existing game", get to the point where I select the game and click play and I get a crash to desktop :/

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, anyone got some insight? I tried having the file resent with the same result.

Just tried it again- to clarify, I select the game and it goes to "C'tis- turn 1" or something similar then and crashes after I hit play at that point. Other existing games I have seem to be working fine. Perhaps my file is corrupted?

I dont seem to have turn 8 how do I get it resent?

I had to request a resend of my turn. and the mail took longer than usual to arrive in my mailbox.

Every one seems awake and playing, 5 players have already played their turn 8 ^^

I wouldn't worry too much. At some point everyone will look at the server list and realise everyone is waiting on them.
The important thing to remember is not to make them wait twice in a row.

I am playing a different game at the moment were some guy is about to get triple teamed because he is always the last guy to submit his turn. In fact he would get quad teamed except the 4th guy can't get his armies in to fight.

I am requesting the game be delayed from
14:00 GMT Friday 9 May , Until 14:00 GMT Monday 12 May as I am going away

In future can people please PM me if they need a hosting postponed. Or post to the board more than a day in advance.
I do check my PM's quite regularly but do not check the threads every day. Especially if there is not active posting by the anyone, e.g. this is the first post in 7 days.
I only just spotted this and if I had gone to bed, like I probably should have, I would have missed it and poor old wookie would have staled.

Could we change the hosting to 48 hours now? The turns are starting to take longer to work out
