I have a little supper when I go to bed. a sandwich perhaps and a bit of chocolate (I don't really eat sweets the rest of the day). I've always wondered if it was a bad idea taking on food when I'm about to sleep.

Re: OT: Suggestions for getting to sleep?
I drink a beer and read a boring book, but I would not suggest mixing with the drugs mentioned without some advice.
Never Ever play SEIV before hand.

Re: OT: Suggestions for getting to sleep?
Believe me, if I want to relax I have much stronger things than asperin. Nothing illegal though. No, the government specifically says it's ok in my case.
I avoid taking asperin offhand anyway. If I have a headache I'm probably dehydrated. I drink some water.

Re: OT: Suggestions for getting to sleep?
Try to read Brothers Karamazov from Dostoevsky, it´s better than any sleeping pill... I never managed to get beyond page 50 before falling in a deep sleep...

Re: OT: Suggestions for getting to sleep?
Back in college I did the same thing with tech manuals. I haven't tried it for awhile. I've got some collected essays that might work.
How about
"Counterfactual Thought Experiments in World Politics"
344 wonderful pages on social politics.
I've also got a dog eared copy of a book about quantum physics and parallel realities.

Re: OT: Suggestions for getting to sleep?
Well, I took a tylonel, left the radio on quiet and turned off the AC so the room would be warm. I got seven and a half hours.

NyQuil.
As somebody that is utterly immune to the drowsiness of everything, I can tell you that NyQuil makes you more or less comatose no matter what.

Re: OT: Suggestions for getting to sleep?
I got twelve hours of sleep; I'm all caught up on the sleep I lost, I think and I guess the insomnia is over.
Thanks for your help.
