You seem to underestimate the general niceness of this community, or at the very least this group of players.

so what does this mean exactly.. if we roll back are we honour bound to act as before? what happens to treaties made in the turns since then? I'm not trying to be obtuse, just have never come across a rollback of so many turns

Dragar, I agree completely - and I don't think you're being obtuse at all. I do think on a rollback of this size we should talk about what we expect.
The rollback presents a storm of issues for example, our agreements.
I generally don't think that players could redo their exact actions even if they remembered them; I don't think its reasonable to expect them to *not* use prior knowledge. I'd expect everyone to make their best efforts.
So, for example in our instance - I don't mind you making a beeline for that specific province, and I think you should. Hopefully we will be smart enough to talk to each other so we don't collide =).
And yes, I'd like to say again, I am impressed with the sportsmanship of this group and community.
Again, we haven't heard from RedEyes. Personally, I hope he does choose to continue (so I can beat him in person). If he doesn't then, I'd say game on =).

Re: Sol - CBM EA Game on Llamaserver: Running
I couldn't set myself to AI last turn because of my ISP being down last night.
I'm still alive, but nearly all my assets are frozen behind castle walls, it would only be a matter of pressing end-turn for me, and most of my effective forces are dead due to random patrol orders w/o support and otherwise scattered in random provinces.
I was in a good position when my game got corrupted, just taking an enemy fort.
A rollback is a big disruption of gameplay, I can't demand one.
The other option is for me to go AI.

I don't want to lose any players from technical problems. We're all willing to roll back for you, Red. Are you sure you just want to go AI?

Re: Sol - CBM EA Game on Llamaserver: Running
I am moderately against a roll back of that magnitude, but will not balk if it happens.
It doesn't really have anything to do with my position or events (or lack thereof), just that 4 turns is alot of knowledge to use differently.

I also very much hate a rollback, not to mention a couple of them a few times, but I am willing to rollback for the sake of Redeyes.
Just please, no more after this!

Re: Sol - CBM EA Game on Llamaserver: Running
there have onbly been about 4 people posting about this, if the others aren't reading th eforum and suddenly there is a 5 or 6 turn rollback... suggest if we rollback that you message them first starshine? For the remainder of the game let's pause as soon as something questionable happens, once the game keeps moving it becomes difficult

Re: Sol - CBM EA Game on Llamaserver: Running
Oh, I did set myself to AI the last turn.
Feel free to go on or to rollback as you wish, I have other games going and I see no reason to disrupt your game but if you do,
I'll be back in with gusto to wage my war and to slaughter puny humans.

Re: Sol - CBM EA Game on Llamaserver: Running
Well, I guess since you're okay with this Red, I may as well just keep this game going as smoothly as possible. I really hope there will be no more technical issues...
