I'd like some feedback from the other players as to if they are willing to put the game on hold for the 9 days we are gone. if everyone is against it, Trumanator can try to find a sub, and my friend will play MA r'yleh, but someone else will need to take over the admin of this game at least temporarily.
Its really too bad your vacation isn't like 2 weeks later or I'd second the motion...

I'm getting married at the end of July, with a honeymoon to follow in early august. I have a friend I could pass my turns off to during the honeymoon, and I figure that's probably what I end up doing - wasn't going to ask the game to be delayed for that. Assuming I can't find some way to bring the game with me to Wales... (no, my fiancee would kill me). Its 10 days - i figure I'll miss 5 turns since we'll probably be up to ~2 days/turn of hosting time at that point.

So consider this a public service announcement rather than a request for a delay.

I don't mind putting the game on hold for these 9 days as I will be myself on vacations from the 13th to 27th of July. Even if I will find a way to play from where I will be, the break will allow me to take care of other things

Sounds like a plan then. I'm not going anywhere, but I'm OK with breaking for those days... I dunno what to do about Squirrelloid's conflict though.

BTW, Congratz, Squirreloid!

I've got a sub lined up in all likelihood - don't worry about it =)

Now, so long as he doesn't screw me over too much worse than I'll have already screwed myself by then...

PS. I think just about everyone should have PMs from me for the current turn. Make sure you check your inbox!

I am going on vacation from the 13th to 28th of July. It won't prevent me from playing (I hope...) However as I will be travelling on Monday I would like to ask to delay the end of next turn (turn 14) to Tuesday 11pm GMT
Many thanks and sorry about the bothering.

I don't suppose the names of the participants could be spelled correctly in the first post? (Its Statttis, with 3 t's). Makes writing PMs for diplomacy easier.

The capricorns of Oceania are pleased to announce that Erik of MA Atlantis has redeemed himself in our eyes, and there shall be no need for bloodshed between our peoples.

I did not receive turn 11 and requested a resend... for some Oceania...

It would be nice if one could tell which was which *somehow*. I guessed. Sorry if you got the turn resent EA Oceania (if i don't see it i'll probably try the other one and see what that does).

On the "Resend turn" screen of the llamaserver, the nations are ordered as.....

1 2
3 4
5 6
etc.

With the order relating to how they are listed on the status page.

So for this game the nations playing are listed as,

1.Atlantis
2.Oceania
3.R'lyeh
4.Atlantis
5.Oceania
6.R'lyeh

meaning a turn resend for MA Oceania appears in position 5 on the resend screen (assuming of course the nations are ordered in a EA-MA-LA order, which they usually are on the llamaserver for All-Era games).

I think the llamaserver just had a hiccup yesterday and forgot to send out a load of turn files (I was missing two).
