@bout Abysia : true, the counterattack of Ulm against Abysia has been very impressive, some nice little battles around there although I confess that I would not have bid a single gem on Ulm after the initial offensive of Abysia. That's a good lesson : do not rest near a vampire's fort.

I originally posted offering to sub in for Abysia to give them a last stand. But Hadrian had already sorted the problem by setting Abysia AI by the time I contacted him (and Abysia was the last turn outstanding for hosting). So I then went back and edited my message to the above.
My thought was everyone would just ignore my edited message, and this would help avoid confusion regarding where I'm talking about subbing in to make a last stand for Abysia one minute, but yet they ended up as AI the next turn. But obviously my plan resulted in an epic fail as evidenced by this very explanation

Re: LA CBM Game Pyrite upload Pretenders
Unlikely as it is that I'll be able to fight off such a massive alliance after failing to secure a single ally myself, I will make them bleed like pigs. To the few players *not* attacking me you might want to consider what's going to happen when I'm not killing swarms of these guys each turn anymore. Marignon urgently calls for the last couple "independent" nations to rally to their banner. After I fall your owly slim hope will be that they turn on each other before eating the rest because they'll collectively have about 3 times the power of everyone else left.

Sorry, but blame your own well-known ingenuity for such a popularity. And maybe too fast expansion. You thought your neighbors wouldn't be concerned while you kill us one by one? I prefer to bleed like a pig now to having no chance later.

Do not listen to the silver tongue of the demon overlord of marignon. We are a group of nations who took it upon us to defeat marignon with great costs to our empires to protect the world from his rule.
After his attack and the following destruction of Caelum, everyone should see, that if we do not stand together against marignon, we will be killed one by one by him.
But sadly we have to rapport, that marignon has already a slave empire called bogarus, who took it upon themselves to walk around half the world, to engage me in my back.
btw. LA Marignon played by Baalz should be treated as LA Ermor and dealt with accordingly.

Well, let's hope that you can put up a good fight then. Antagonizing a single player makes the game boring unless it's ermor. Since you only got 2 baalz, at least I hope so, they should be fighting over them in the end. If you win then good for you.
Gath had a good run but too bad giants didn't like my icecream land of starvation or maybe they are all lactose intolerant?

Well, this looks like straight baalzophobia. We may consider this new kind of pathology as another pernicious effect of the dominion of Dom3.
Do you still want you dominions 3, girls ?
And errrr, talking about Caelum, he stalled three turns in a rows, better set him to IA I guess.

This is, quite unfortunately for me not a new pathology. Flattering though it is I have yet to pull myself out from under the 4-5 nation pileup that my inflated reputation seems to encourage.

He's got just a sieged cap. There seems to be a decent sized force in it but he seems to be inclined to force me to storm it. Hard to say how much longer I've got to chip away at that godawful thick wall though.
