Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Second Year
we must pause the game until we know what's up with TC. we can't just let him stale away.

As Neil Young said in his song "Hey, Hey, My, My..." :
"It's better to burn out than it is to stale"

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Second Year
Ugh. My last turn was actually a stale turn also. I just didn't find the time to finish my turn, and the deadline snuck up on me. Holidays and all that.
I'm still here, though, so don't worry.

Utgard will not attack Tien Chi for the next 2 turns then.

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Second Year
all right, I recomment we give tien chi one more turn before taking action. after three stales, we'll be entitled to sub the position. I'll have to think about taking it on myself. I have some experience with EA TC, so i wouldn;t be completelyu thrown in the deep end. the prospect of loosing 2 wars in a row on the same map isn't particularly something to look forward to...
in the mean time its great of utgard to give them a turn's breathing room. if their other enemies, particularly jomon could also pledge to not push the attack this turn, that would be ideal
any chance Jomon?

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Second Year
there's no point letting TC stale a 3rd time, it'll only make the position that much worse for whoever subs into it, seeing that he's in a multi fronted war already. we really should freeze the game until we either hear from the TC player or sub someone in for him.

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Second Year
fair enough.
game postponed for 24 hours. If we haven't found a sub in that time, I'll take over for a while.
and I can't be arsed to actually look for a sub. anyone up for it?

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Second Year
I wont be taking any new territory this turn, that's fine, would you need another turn to get to grips with things or what? What should I do with the fort I've been sieging by the way, seems annoying to pull back and let it rebuild, but I don't really care one way or the other.

Re: Last Rites - First Blood! - Second Year
found a sub. seems the only problem is that he is away from 24-27 of december. is that ok with everyone? i could sub a single turn during that period easily enough. I'll give him the post later today if there are no objections...
