Lvtp5
Does anyone know where I can find a GOOD top view photo of a LVTP5 on the 'net ? I've been looking for a couple of days on and off and still have not found one. Even a good top shot of a model of one would do but so far all I've found that is even close just does not show what I need to see

Re: Lvtp5
A good general source, though not for this specific case (only a side view for the LVTP5).

Re: Lvtp5
Yeah , That was the first place I looked
Problem solved, the views I managed to piece together turned out to be quite complete and an new version of that vehicle will be entered into the SHP files

Re: Lvtp5
Don,
Gave myself a quick break and distraction, understand you got what you needed but here's a couple of pics as well for any that might want them. Ran into the same problem - models except for last. Back to the salt mine and will meet the deadline hopefully a couple of days earlier.
Pics:

Re: Lvtp5
Modifying the existing LVTP5 icon I presume?
Best I know the USA never used a cammo painted version.
The Philippines got most of the P5 inventory when the USMC upgraded to P7's in the 70's, and they may well have repainted them.
Any chance you'll be adding an AAVE7 MCLC (i.e. an AAVP7 with a mine plow) icon next update?

Easilly enough done. A photo of a AAV with a plow attached would be nice becasue I have not been able to find a photo of an P7 with a plow attached and we don't do line charge Mine clearing in the game

Seems they've scrapped the plow for the AAV since the introduction of the AVB.

Re: Lvtp5
AVB ?
Methinks you mean ABV (Assault Breacher Vehicle)
It's been in the OOB's for a couple of months
I assume that means I can toss anything in the AAV or the LVTE class with a mine plow that starts after the ABV out of the USMC OOB ?
If they just scrapped the plow there must be at least one photo of one with it ( I just canna find it .)

Once the ABV (AVB was a typo) is introduced feel free to toss the LVTE mine plow class, and of course the M728 CEV.
The LVTE's were kept around to supplement/substitute for the CEV (since they didn't have many and they were too slow with the introduction of the M1A1).
Like EVERYTHING in the USMC the plows weren't scrapped, just placed in storage.
Same as the M20 3.5" bazooka were till at least 1985.
Same as the M14's still are
