In order to move unit into a hex already occupied by another unit, hold the shift key on your keyboard and then clock on the hex where you want the unit to move.

Just went through a new experience in my second scenario - I get slaughtered by AT guns and AA guns - which surely can neither spot me nor should be able to shoot at me - spotting could be done by another unit - but how can they shoot at my tanks bypassing 2-5 tiles of forest - like this I will just need to restart
a new scenario...

Visibility through forested hexes is variable. Sometimes one single hex is deemed dense enough to block LOS and other times it may take two or three or occasionally even more to block LOS. Not all forest is dense conifers, sometimes it's little saplings with a few mature trees. They spotted you and killed you because they could see you.
