It is a tough time for game development. Right now I, personally, have been doing a lot of writing (in between my full-time Army job and working on my PhD.).
I think the future of the company lies on other platforms. We are very interested in the growing battle between Android devices and iPad. We are also still exploring XNA as a cross-platform development system for PC and XBOX 360. We are waiting for that to mature, though.
Changing platforms is very expensive, as you have to transfer your codebase. We are waiting to make that plunge until (a) the wargame market improves and (b) one platform pulls ahead with a decisive lead.
No - they are not in sprint. Lost the game (not due to FIST ). If any of the readers have won this scenario, could you please post a rough sketch of how you deployed your troops at startup?
