open game scripts for Dominions 4
Im just kindof messing around with switches and things for now. But eventually, the good parts of Dom3Minions.com should appear at Dom4Minions.com
I was thinking today about what kind of open games to run. Of course I would still do Chaos, and SemiRand, and Blitz. Eventually DEMO of course when they get one put out. Probably something like CBM if it becomes popular.
But I am also thinking about some new ones. If anyone has requests for games or maps etc then just ask.

Re: open game scripts for Dominions 4
One open game that came to mind really grabbed my attention because it was impossible. I love impossible.
Open a Pretender/Disciples game. Allow players to choose the nation they will be the Pretender for. All of the nations will accept a Pretender god.
When someone hits the START button then all of the Pretender gods get two computer-player Disciple pretenders from the unchosen nations on their team.
I am pretty sure I can make this happen.

Re: open game scripts for Dominions 4
I remember you had random maps generated that had indie provinces with additional units (random and sometimes really strong). Is this still true for your current random maps for Dom4 or did you abandon that idea?
Personally, I really like playing slow games with strong indie defenses but 9 in province defense just doesn't cut it.

Re: open game scripts for Dominions 4
Wow, nice to see you back.
I still have SemiRand and Chaos on www.Dom3Minions.com as both open games and as downloadable maps.
I plan on both for www.Dom4Minions.com
but at the moment SemiRand needs to be caught up to Dom4.
And I was going to try and make the Chaos games at least a little bit more logical by creating lists from Edi's database.
But for YOU I could make some of the test maps downloadable.
