Re: Turn 5 / Thanksgiving
Hello:
Turn 5 is out.
I need to travel on Wednesday night for the Thanksgiving holiday in the USA. So, I won't be able to host the turn on Wednesday. Let's shoot to host by Friday night, if not sooner on Thursday evening.

Re: Turn 5 / Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving - that is the strange thing with the turkey, right?

Re: Turn 5 / Thanksgiving
Yes. Thanksgiving is the holiday where we all have a feast (usually Turkey). It also commemorates the first "Thanksgiving" in the Plymouth Colony by the English Puritan Pilgrims and local Native Americans in 1620 or so, if I recall correctly. It's probably my favorite holiday. No gifts. No bother. Just good food with friends and family, plus a 4-day weekend.

Re: Turn 5 / Thanksgiving
It's commonly called "Turkey Day" since Turkey is such a commont theme. It's also the day President Bush pardons a couple of turkeys- and no, we're not talking about Lewis "Scooter" Libby.

Re: Turn 5 / Thanksgiving
Ok - I get it. It is the least commercial day of the year for family and friends.
And George pardons a number of Turkeys and refuses to pardon a number of death sentences.

lol no...it's the official start of the holiday shopping season, and a time of huge thanksgiving sales.
And I'm not sure if George getting a hummer from a turkey is traditional :-)
