I have to denounce treason by Eressil3 from Atlantis. As he agreed to a NAP and attacked me later.
The same turn that he attacked me he sent an in game message saying "i declare war upon you" and that's something that is not suposed to happen with a NAP.

That's true.
But Oceania is not fair at all. Atlantis diplomats remember how this so called "NAP" was born.
From Oceania :
"NAP ?"
From Atlantis :
"Yes !"
And that's all...
So what's this ? A 1 month NAP ? A 2 months NAP ? A NAP with 1 month warning before hostilities ? No that's just nothing...
Sorry but a true NAP must contain at least one breaking condition. You have to admit what you call a NAP is just undefendable.
You can still send your further complaints to the atlantian minister of justice !

So, I must assume that you have nothing to do with this treason?
and that you have not allied with him from before the game started?

I don't really care what you assume, but FWIW the only role I played in this was letting him know, since he shared a border with you, that you were prone to not honor NAPs. I haven't even attacked you, though I will now that you've decided we're at war.

Re: Afterthought - Random Nations, Middle Era (Sig
For the people that were not in Radiance game. I attacked Baalz when he attacked my ally despite that I specifically asked not to do so. I see that of honoring my alliance with Shmonk and that's better than dealing with someone that didn't even answer diplomatic messages.
Sorry for this long explanation but at least is complete.

Please remember it's a game ! And please don't fall in the conspiracy theory !
If you want the detailed story here it is . There is no big conspiracy behind :
- I'm a beginner. I played in few games and I believe Baalz was not in. I don't know him.
- You (Manuk) sent me an alarming message (turn 2 or 3) about R'lyeh. Something like :"prepare your armies, R'lyeh he's not in a diplomatic mood !!!"
- I found this message rather odd so early in the game. Therefore *I* made the first step toward R'lyeh to judge him by myself.
- R'lyeh seemed pretty diplomatic. So *I* (not him) suggested an alliance to crush Oceania. Sorry Manuk but I don't like to be pushed by strange alarming messages. Baalz answered something like "Why not ? But not now..." He wanted to destroy another nation.
So you see Manuk : you was not pre-targeted by Baalz but by me !
Why ? Because our scouts knows what you're hiding inside your walls !!! Here is a report !

Re: Afterthought - Random Nations, Middle Era (Sig
I have noticed that diplomatic efforts and agreements often get confused, at least in larger games. What I've started doing is writing down what I've agreed to. Or better yet, use the forum mail system to have something to refer to in the future if need be.
But I feel sort of badly for Manuk anyway, as declaring a 'Yes!' to an obviously confused player regarding normal-ish diplomacy efforts seems rather inconsiderate and reserved for 'win at all costs' sorts of players, of which there are many. It would have been very easy to ask for clarification instead of just deluding the guy, but hey, just my opinion.
Don't let this tick you off too much, Manuk, there'll be other games comin' up. You can always drop out of a sign-up if you see someone you strongly dislike or something. And every lesson is hard. And not because of the mermaids.
