Re: Punitive Action
I'd be happy if the host would change his mind.
Still, his 'vote' counts more than all of ours I'm afraid.
And then there are some folks who prefer 48h...

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
The only thing I don't like about going to 48 hours at this point is the vast majority of players end up waiting the full 48 hrs for the inevitable stalers.
After 36 hours only two players have left to take thier turn and I'd be willing to bet that they'll end up staling.
Yes we agreed on the turns at the start of the game, but I would expect the players who consistently stale to be closely monitored and the agreed-upon terms of turning thier nations over to AI if necessary be strictly enforced.

Re: Punitive Action
Its not a matter of vote, host is right.
Its a 62 player game, not 4 friends playing together, so we better let it be 48 hours as it was decided before the start.
We all agreed, btw. As we are ~60, theyre is probably many players that prefer 48 hours but without saying it there, especially because of the majority.

About the two players staling. I would suspect you are wrong. I am one of those players and It would have been impossible for me to get my turn in yesterday due to two exams. I am working on my turn currently and should be done in the next little bit.
I would like to add that I am grateful for the 48 hour turn limit. It allows me to stay in this game.

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
I'm surprised at the lack of activity in this post. This used to be the most happening post around! (Well, I do acknowledge the fact that this post is getting mighty long, and should probably be split).
That said, LA Pan, led by Gonzo the Ugly, is doing OK in it's small little corner of the world. We're planting many a crop of lovely weeds, and are quite amused watching the many nasty wars going on around our borders. In fact, we've recruited several Harpie Reporters to spy out the many battles, and report back for the Pan 6 O'Clock News. It's by far our top rated show.
For a recap... Thrice Blessed Neifelheim is doing better, but still looking a little stressed. Mighty LA Ermor looks to be reeling a bit, but should recover, and MA Ermor (we Pans live in an Ermor sandwich, if you readers did not know) appears to be pursuing the path of peace (ah, well).
Best of luck to all involved, and may the nation with the most Sleep Vines win!

Have you, by any chance, missed the gazillion "I am addicted and want to keep the 24 hours timer" posts in here the last past days?

Well, there might not have happened much new stuff during the last... turn or so. People can trash-talk about Midgård only so much while accomplishing nothing conclusive.
That being said, an official letter from the prophet of MA Agartha, written verbatim as dictated:
"The recent cries of nations all over the eastern continent have been heard by the Agarthan rulers, which comes a bit of a surprise as most of them are hard on hearing given their old age. They're much distressed by Man's labeling of people suffering of incontinence as it's a natural consequence of an old age and nothing to be ashamed of. However, given the cold climate spread by our neighbours which is harmful to both the old bones of our geriatrics and to the pride of some our pantless troops and leaders, a course of action has been decided.
Agarthan geriactrics have taken their walking sticks and started their journey to rid the world of the cold evil that is LA *cough*gård (sorry, it's a bit cold here). Our opponent has already been notified as the honor and old treaties demand, and the battle will be joined in due time. After all, while old feet are reliable, they're by no means swift.
Respectfully yours,
Squishy the second, prophet of Lodvathu, MA Agartha
P.S: Please get your scouts out of our lands. Watching four scout slayings this turn alone gets tedious really fast."

Contrary to popular belief, the undeads don't have the energy to jam all day and all night, day in and day out. We need some NAP time too
