Re: New Hosting
Yeah, I got it. I didn't get back home to host until around 11:30.
Everyone should have gotten their turns by now. A few people may have gotten them twice; I think there was a hiccup in the script.

Re: New Hosting
You've already sent your turn, so it doesn't even matter (unless a proposition comes up that you would want to say something about). Enjoy the outing, I hope!
By the way, I never got those five gems that you promised...

Re: New Hosting
With eight hours to go, I'm missing turns from Vanheim, C'tis, and Ermor. Ermor staled last turn, and C'tis has staled the last five turns. I'm not yet worried about Ermor, but I'm starting to get concerned about C'tis.

Re: New Hosting
With the odd nature of this game's setup, I think it is a lot less disruptive to have stales than it would be to have an AI.

Re: New Hosting
Eh - the AI would simply be treated as rogue. Mind, there should be advance notice.

Re: New Hosting
I wasn't suggesting AI... More thinking of a sub or replacement. I know Huntsman's got some tough stuff going on in the real world, so it's not too surprising that he hasn't been taking his turns; I don't know if or when he'll have more leisure time to play. I think, though, if he misses the next couple turns we should start looking for someone to take over (and preferably someone who'd be willing to give the reins back to Huntsman if he is able to come back at some point).
I'd hate to see the game become "sit around doing nothing until someone drops out, then scramble to take their lands". I know this is a bit contrary to a proposition I put forth a while back, but, well... I'm wiser now.

He's actually one of my neighbors, and ended up with one of my provinces as a result of the Man vs. Pangea-et-al war...
So put away your conspiracy theories...
