Aran
Thanks for letting us know. It's no problem as far as I'm concerned. Take your time, it's supposed to be fun, not a chore!
Turns are taking a while because you've got too many units and provinces. I'm really trying to help you out as much as I can with that, but it's tough .
Edit:
In news from the West, Marverni has resorted to crack suicide poison bomb squads to strike terror into the ranks of Vanheim. What news from the East? Is it too much to hope that by now a peace has been forged between Mictlan and Ermor? Is Arco preparing to launch a deadly attack on the coasts from their secret underwater base?

Re: Aran
Arcoscephale as it once was is no more. The oeriads and mystics are all dead.
We are the last remains of their power, a failed attempt to probe the depths of the seas. We lay no claim to their fallen throne. We have no interest in wars fought on the dry lands.
The depths are our concern and home now. Leave us be.

Re: Aran
Vanheim has no desire for the waters and will gladly leave them to Arcosephale.
Some underwater expeditions may be needed in the war against Malverni, but Arcosephale will be left alone as long as they do not interfere with us on land.

Re: Aran
Our condolences to the refugees of Arcoscephale. Marverni is now half in the water itself, so we know how you feel. Do not forget who it was that chased you from the land, and ravaged your sacred Oeriads! Do not hide from the painful memories of the pillage and plunder committed by the Norse giants. Fight the power!

Re: Aran
I'm laughing too much to stay in character, but this is the third province I've lost to events in the past seven or so turns and I took no misfortune. Bring it on! *snicker*

Re: Aran
Marverni has had exceptional luck recently! Many magic sites are popping up in our lands -- in exactly the same month in which Vanheim invades and takes over the province .
On another topic, here's an idea for a new ritual spell:
Slippery Fingers
W2
Alt5
Cast it on a province and a hero in the province will drop one non-cursed magic item, which will be lost forever. Preferably his ring of water breathing.

Re: Aran
The Nation of Marverni thinks that the war for Aran was probably decided about 6 months ago. However, we are continuing the fight against Vanheim just in case Ermor and Mictlan would like to see their conflict through to its final resolution.
If you are all bored, though, now might be an good time for everyone to surrender to Vanheim.

Re: Aran
Completely ooc, but I'd like to thank you for hosting, vfb - it's been a very fun game. It'd be nice to have another turn or two, as I'm finally going to break the long term siege that Mictlan has been hammering me with - for better or worse. Will be a fun battle to watch.
Nice job Vanheim, and if you'd like to have another game with the same crew, etc. (perhaps with a different map), vfb, count me in if possible.

Re: Aran
Yeah its been a fun game and thanks for the host. If you throw another I would love a spot. I have to give it up to Ermor for countering my jags nicely.

Re: Aran
Thanks! I'm glad you've enjoyed the game. I'll have to PM Eressil3 and K to see if they are interested too, since they may not be following this thread any more. I think everyone contributed a lot to making it a very fun game.
I will leave the server running until everyone decides they've had enough. Marverni is only likely to be alive for another month, possibly two.
The next game I will host is likely to be using the CB mod:
http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/thr...er=486850&page
And I think the map I will use will be Parganos (Edi's Fix):
http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/thr...er=501807&page
What era are you interested in? I'm just finally beginning to understand EA, and I've only played MA once.
Edit: tromper doesn't like Parganos ... at least according to the Utterdark MP thread. Any suggestions for a different map? How many people want to join? Is anyone from the first Tyrande game reading this thread?
Edit again: Looks like 3.07 will be done soon:
http://ulm.illwinter.com/dom3/dom3progress.html
I'll hold off on hosting until 3.07 is done, and if *heim/glamor have been adjusted at all, then I'll also drop the CB mod plan too.
