Re: In the North country
I find myself agree with Lingchih. It's not like other games where you have to deal with fifteen or so people for your diplomacy move, so I found myself enjoying this relax yet fast paced game. I suppose we can continue 24hours for some more times, and see if we need to change that in the future.
Yea, I'm enjoying it as I've achieved both of my goals in this game: rush and took down a neighbor(urh) and keep myself alive till the end of the 4th year

Re: In the North country
yes, I'm also doing turns alot faster than usual in Ludus, the situations are much less complicated in this game. But if other players are not enjoying the game as much as they should due to time restrain, I'd certainly agree slower turns.

Re: In the North country
The game was designed for quicker hosting with a majority vote needed for a 48 hour switch. My vote is to stick with 24 for now.

I am struggling to keep up - but am willing to keep trying.
Atlantis continual Earth Attacks are reducing my micromanagment problems ... thanks a bunch

Re: In the North country
Actually, my turns are taking longer now as well, since Pan has forced me to actually think about what I'm doing, instead of just crushing whatever is in the way. I can still do 24 hour without a problem, but I could live with 48 hour.
How about an official vote? I have no idea how to set one up though.

Re: In the North country
Just post clearly that you wish to change to 48. When at least half of the remaining players wish to change over we'll move it up to 48.

Re: In the North country
I am happy to keep taking my turns quickly, but I am going to go on record as voting for a change to 48-h turns. I just think it's getting to that stage in the game.

Re: In the North country
dear C'tis,
your demand turned out to be too much for us to bear. I failed to get your point as peaceful as we were, and sadly I found myself have no options but step our forces into a very-likely losing war. just like you wished and you threatened.
that being said, the people of helheim shall never find themselves a dummy of lizard, as so much we valued pride and honor, and we would fight for it till the end of world. should our nation be annihilated one day, remember my word,
Helheim Never Surrender.

Voting Time
I would like to vote for a change to 48 hour hosting.
C'tis is preparing to reap what it sowed ... our crop looks like it is going to bitter and particularly foul-tasting .... bleeagh !
