Re: ****PBW Status****
Other suggestions for Juri to try when PBW comes back up:
1) Clear your browser's Cache, or 2) reboot your computer.

3. I tried uploading from 3 different computers (win 98, 2000, xp, different IE Versions)
4. I even got 2 friends of mine to try and upload it. (one from New Zeeland and one from Slovenia) they both said the page just "clouldn´t upload the file ...

Sounds to me like it is the .plr file that is the problem, NOT the browser. Is it reasonable to play the turn again? If you can, try to upload the new .plr file.

Re: ****PBW Status****
I can't access it either.
when I trace the IP, I get timed out.
I trace via amsterdam, london, NY, chicago and get timed out on the connection that comes after srp1-0.kttroh1-ubr2.woh.rr.com.
How does this work for you jurij? (type tracert seiv.pbw.cc in MSDOS)

Well, it's back up now. I did something really really stupid and I'll thank everyone not to ask me about it.

Re: ****PBW Status****
Juri, I have turned off auto processing so your turn should not run just yet. If you still can't get the .plr file to upload, email it to me and I'll give it a try. You don't have to withdraw from teh game, but tell me what game it is. I couldn't find it in the eariler Posts.

I brought this up already and he said he is using IE. Leave it to MS to muck up PBW for a guy.

Re: ****PBW Status****
Maybe he should try to NOT use IE... if it doesn not work with any Version of IE it *might* be a bit rash to conclude that it will only work with IE...
Except for a few javascript commands that work only with IE (and are not recommended to use anyway) there should be no problem when using any other brother than IE.
The real problem might be, though, a corrupt database or invalid entry - undo turn only half done with some flags still set that make PBW refuse to accept a new turn, for instance. But this could only be solved by Geo himself, and may not be simple.
