Re: Uploading Pretenders
It is well known that lawyers cannot count. Of course, occasionally they can get lucky on a guess...
Ready for the restart!

We get paid for convincing people that 2+2=5, unless it is more in our clients' interests for it to equal 2 or maybe even 4.

I stand corrected!
By the way, it is a well-known engineering axiom that 2+2 does not always equal 4. It actually might be 5 for large values of 2, and can be 3 for small values of 2.
For example:
2.3 + 2.4 = 4.7, which can be approximated as:
2 + 2 = 5
A scientist would puke over this, though!
Also, excellent job on the fast restart, everybody. It was amazingly quick.

Re: Uploading Pretenders
If I am not mistaken it's utterly axiomatic that 2+2 = 4 (as opposed to 5) and that 2.3 + 2.4 = 2.7 and can be rounded by convention. Did you, by an chance, build the original mirror for the Hubble telescope?

Re: Uploading Pretenders
ROFL!!!
Another big fat oops! The Indies are set to 0, not 9. I have done this before, it's easy to do. Just accidently go one past the 9, and viola! Free provinces everywhere!
When we restart yet again, I am requesting that commander renaming be allowed. I forgot to ask that and notice that it is still off in the current restart. Renaming is an easy thing to do to ease the pain of micro management later in the game.
*sigh*
I don't think I have ever played a game that is harder to get a game going than Dominions...
