Zeldor: yes, the tga-file is the picture of the map, and it is the only file the players will need (apparently turn file contains all information they need about the game). The calculations happen in wholy different server, so players do not need the map file. This is useful when editing a map (like has been done here) so everyone do not have to download it.

Jomon and Arco need to upload their pretenders.
Let's just go ahead and play without modding the map. Which means, that I'm very thankful Caelum isn't in the game. There's gonna be some quick ugly fireworks happening in the center of the map.

Sending mine in a moment.
I am not at home right now, so someone please notify llamabeast if we have all players, so game can start.
P.S. Most lucky nations are rather Atlantis and Mictlan as they only nations with good water units [Mictlan even has blessed atlantians].

Center of the map? With wraparounds, I can never tell where the center is!

Re: New semi-newbie game!
Elswamio - Jomon - is the only one left to submit their pretender.

Is Els, still interested in playing? Like to get started sooner rather than later...

Re: New semi-newbie game!
I certainly don't blame him for losing interest, we've got to be setting some kind of record for the longest MP setup time in the history of Dom3 (three weeks tomorrow!).
Zeldor, I suggest PM-ing llamabeast with the green-light to start. If Jomon gets a pretender in before hosting, great; actually, as I understand, llamabeast is a bit behind schedule, so it'll be a race of sorts.

Re: New semi-newbie game!
hoo:I hope not, he does not seem to be here, cause I didn't get a read receipt for my message yet.
Cleveland:
Hmm... I will wait few hour before doing that or tell llamabeast to start in the morning, gmt time. Arcoscephale and Pangea woul probably be most happy if there was no Jomon.

Re: New semi-newbie game!
Zeldor, this game doesn't seem to have a serious start-date in sight. If it isn't running by this evening, I'm going to have to respectfully withdraw.
