Re: talking smack in Perpetuality
I think the game has officially bogged down a bit...
so, the question at hand is: what has everyone learned?
And, when will the next, bigger and better Perpetuality start? Hopefully with a larger map and mod nations?

Re: talking smack in Perpetuality
OK count me as gone. Yomi will have completely destroyed my capitols defences by next turn and inside i have a few diseased mages and even fewer diseased(and one blind) crossbowmen.

Re: talking smack in Perpetuality
Bogged down? At least here in the eastern continent I'm busy killing my neighbour, my neighbours' neighbours are busy killing my other neighbours, and just got a broadcast that my neighbours' neighbours' neighbours have been doing some backstabbity business. I wouldn't call that bogging down, it's more that we currently have two players (out of 60) on unexpectedly long leave. If Niefelheim is dying due to unsustainable scale design, it's hardly the game's fault. ;p
As to my neighbour, MA Agartha thus condems Utgård for their vile practices of using ethereal assasins and hopes that Utgärd's pride succumbs to a pox as he retreated cowardly when he was cursed, afflicted with disease and reduced to two hit points when our patrollers found him. Our only regret is that we never got to get those precious items he was carrying, but we're certain the giants will still give us other chances.

Nah...we are in the, 'slaughter your neighbour' phase. You need stamina for MP games Honey and not terrible scales like you have...
I am looking forward to seeing what are the 1st globals to go up. Burden of Time would be so funny...suicidal but funny... the cry of outrage from 50+ players.
Wonder how many thousands it would say died/effected?
Wrath of God would be a laugh as well...
But it will probably be something boring like the mother oak or something.

Are you the official? Speak for yourself, HB; I'm having loads of fun. For this remark, Patala officially declares war on all eras of Jotunheim.

I just hope near the end of the game a couple of crazy people wish for armageddon(imagine the damage...).

I think Honey is just referring to his own game. I can confirm that his game is "bogging down a bit", as I am the one bogging it...

Re: talking smack in Perpetuality
Oh please. I have terrible scales? I do but they certainly don't seem to make me a pushover for Ermor. Ermor's been trying to "bog" me down since about the third turn of the game, and Niefelheim's still standing-and this is the very first MP game I've ever played (but notice how I'm not the first one out?).
Am I ashamed of how well I'm doing?
No I am not.
Am I requesting AI status?
No I am not.
I was referring to the thread, not the game, since this used to be the most active thread by far in the mods. It just seems like people don't seem that interested in it.
As far as the game goes, Niefelheim officially declairs war on Patala for having a sissy name.
If people want to jump on my back since they see my nation as weak (while secretly being relieved that Ermor's the one doing all the weakening while they cower), go right ahead.
Maybe if you keep on kissing Ermor's bony *** so enthusiastically, they'll save you for dessert.

Marverni thinks it's all the hippies out in the West. They're just full of love and peace. We of Marverni were once hippies too, for about 8 months, before Midgard taught us the error of our ways. It's been a blast ever since!

Re: talking smack in Perpetuality
I would personally like to congratulate Niefelheim on their doggedness. They have managed to maintain their capitol, with however bad scales they have, against multiple assaults. They, of course, will fall in the end, but they have put up a very good defense.
