Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
Honestly Honey, what could I do? LA Pan doesn't have great armies till late game. LA Ermor was way out of my league. I wanted to play for a little while longer, so I watched you die. Sorry, but it was really the only plan for me.

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
And in the west, old hatreds again rise to surface. The MA Ermorian nation marches to war. How many nations will be swept into this conflict? Rumors of impending treachery abound. Who will break their word? Whose word is carved on marble, and whose word is scrawled on mud?
In this world of Perpetuality, life is cheap. Death is seldom final. Victories and defeats come and go with the fickle wind. Our word is the only thing that is of any everlasting worth. Who shall be weighed and found wanting?
All will be laid bare in the coming months.

I'm just a spec, but I thought that LA ermor was supposed to be rather vulnerable in mid/late game?

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
What really makes Ermor vulnerable is enemy magic. If everyone researches very slowly, as is the case in this game, Ermor's window of military dominance gets longer.
Furthermore, if Ermor is five times the size of any of it's neighbours, what can they do? With a large enough gem income, Ermor can have a non-undead, summoned auxillary the equal of any entire national army - and several absolutely huge undead skirmishing forces which, while very vulnerable, still have to be dealt with.
That said, I don't think Ermor will be the most dangerous foe thirty turns from now.

Ben Franklin obviously never played Dominions. Or else that qoute would read...
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety normally have a plan to break their NAP in about 20-30 turns and KICK SOME ***."

I would like to celebrate the fact that I, a nation with poor national troops, an imprisoned pretender and no form of bless strategy outlasted a triple blessed niefelheim (although i think i had more luck diplomatically) despite having my capitol taken by indies for almost the entire game .

Honey,
It shows that you have not done your turn. I do not know if you need to log in or whether the game admin. needs to do something on his end.
