Out of curiosity, how much time does it take you to do your turns at this stage?

I know some have huge empires to manage, but my turns take no more than 5 minutes.

Even in the Alpaca game where I own 3 capitals and am fighting 3-4 battles a turn, my turns take little more than 5 minutes to do. While I likely am not a micro-manager that some players are, does anyone actually take 10 minutes or more to complete a turn?
Marverni takes 2 minutes to do its turn. Yay for being dead!

Since we're quoting e-mails - Midgard just tried to extract a bribe from me in exchange for attacking EA C'tis. His threats are fairly feeble, so I refused. It's clear that he doesn't have the money to pay that army.

As long as we stand firm for a few more turns it'll be over and done with.

Apparently Man's scribes are unable to read, which makes everything from before suddenly crystal clear. We offered to stop raiding MAN'S lands in exchange for gold now, instead of costing them much more gold in the long run, which is a fairly simple bit of math. Apparently Man's scribes can neither read nor calculate small sums. Considering the fact that Man is unable to stop our raiding force, we thought this was a fair deal.

It takes me about 15 minutes to do a turn, but then I end up doing it over about 10 times, so 150 minutes per turn.

I spend about 10 minutes on a turn, then revisit at some later point and make changes/leave alone after review. So, 20 minutes or so unless something tricky happens.

In comparison I'm in turn 70something in 2 other games and it takes about an hour to 2 hours a pop depending on how many wars I'm in.

I just killed this much-vaunted raiding force at a cost of only 3 troops. So, you can see why I might be confused.

Except you didn't. Unless you don't realize I have a force of 40 troops right next to your pretender sage. They've been taking a province every turn for the last 8 turns. I'd call that a raiding force. There's this big beautiful line right into your territory.

Oh, also, rather than PMing everyone individually: I can't see what's going on near Midgard's capital.

As soon as Menhir flies off, my main army is at your disposal. I assume that he made good on his word and marched north?

The army near my sage is quite dead. You're aware that a new turn just hosted ~10 minutes ago, right?

I would've intercepted it earlier, except that it was marching through my *allies* territory. If you'd tried to extort bribes from *him*, that might've made a certain amount of sense.

Move 2 armies can't take the second move into someone else's lands, or I would've intercepted you turns ago. I only guessed wrong about your movement *once*. Hardly a strateospherically successful raid if *I* was your target.
