Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
Make it 36 at least please. Not it was full 48h. And turns really take 5 minx max.

I'm perfectly calm Oh well, it's a bit slow, but I can deal with it. It's just not quite as immersive when the game is moving slowly.

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
But it's not a bit slow.
We were on turn 6 on the 3rd, and now on turn 10 on the 7th. There's just a buffer so no one gets screwed in the game because they had a rough day IRL.

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
This isn't slow, you want slow look at Greenrow. That game has been going on since last September and I think we've just done turn 40. Then again, we've been doing 7 day hosting intervals since the start so I knew what I was signing up for.
Point is, it could be much slower.

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
sorry to interrupt this thread but I am trying to get a hold of qjo - hey qjo - since you seem to have abandoned Epic_Battles, can you at least set your nation in that game to AI?

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
Hey could you extend the warning before hosting to 12 hours? I find that any shorter and people usually miss the warning as it hits them while they're sleeping (as what happened to me last turn).

That game is so slow that I almost forgot I'm playing it. Can you really rethinkg it and make it 36h at least?

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
The forges of EA ulm are now open! We have reached cons 4 and are forging air, water, and fire items of up to level 1, and earth up to level 2. Some cross-pathing available. All level 1 forgings cost 4 gems, level 2 8 gems. For the moment we will require that any forgings of air, water and fire be paid for in advance as we do not have a terribly large income of those gem types. Items requiring earth gems may even be paid for with other gems, at least for the time being.
