Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
That game is so slow that I almost forgot I'm playing it. Can you really rethinkg it and make it 36h at least?

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
The forges of EA ulm are now open! We have reached cons 4 and are forging air, water, and fire items of up to level 1, and earth up to level 2. Some cross-pathing available. All level 1 forgings cost 4 gems, level 2 8 gems. For the moment we will require that any forgings of air, water and fire be paid for in advance as we do not have a terribly large income of those gem types. Items requiring earth gems may even be paid for with other gems, at least for the time being.

I'll be going up to the mountains tonight and coming back on Monday. I'll submit this turn, but would like to request for a postponement of the next turn till Monday night. Thanks!

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
I'm very disappointed at MA Ulm's playing word trick in diplomacy, which ruined my gameplay experience. In addition, a have some RL issues to attend to recently. After some careful consideration, I decide to turn myself AI or may the admin find a sub for my nation.

Re: HumanWar: Odd Man Out (Game On!)
When you say Ulm ruined your game play experience - what you really mean is, before you were happy fighting a war ganging up 2:1, but you are not happy facing a war, where you are ganged up on 2:1. Thats the only thing thats changed.
In games, and in life, alliances change, and things change. When you declared war on me, sensing big advantage - I went to work full time defending myself militarily and diplomatically- and I capitalized on the tiny mistake that you had made.
Rather than blame ulm for ruining your expectation of victory, take your lumps learn from your mistakes, have fun, and move on.
Realize that every person in this game can read the charts and realizes that you are #1 in Research, and getting farther ahead.
However, since you are abdicating, and Ulm and I were the players that expended money, troops, and effort in securing your defeat, we want to put all nations on notice that we claim those territories and will brook no interference from other nations in claiming of that prize, but are happy to discuss other matters with all nations.

T'ien Ch'i would like to congratulate on destruction of Bogarus and send words of sympathy. We are sure that whole world is happy that Bogarus is gone, with their scary and provocative research lead. To be honest I'd attack them too, if I had border. They were just getting too dangerous.

Gems
To all concerned:
We all know that the game interface for making trades is prone to mistakes. You can never be sure
exactly which nation you clicked on, and there is no way to review.
I recently transfered 12 air gems and 12 earth gems, yet the intended recipient says that he did not receive them. Since the players here are quite generally helpful and truthful - I believe him.
I would kindly ask if you would check your turns, and see if you received a mysterious gift of gems would you contact me offline?
In the meantime, I am asking llama to forward my last turn and .2h to me.
Thank you one and all.
MadFrancis: Could you take the game off quick host, please, to track this down. I might need time to recompense the recipient and I am not at a computer with domininions.
