Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
Its very noticeable how well alot of water nations are doing.
The map of Perpetuality is a lovely map, all Velusions maps are really excellent (any chance of putting them together for download, would like to play SP games on the Tempest, Radience etc maps?) but looking at it does the map favour water nations?
What I mean by this, is they are able to grab enough provinces that there is no need for them to go to war with fellow water nations. So well the land nations are engaged in cut throat wars, using up considerable resources. The water nations are simply gem spamming in complete safety to there hearts content?
It would be funny if LA Ermor became the champion of the land nations vs the water nations, 'our last best hope'.

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
I regret to report that LA Ryleh has stopped paying me tribute. That could be interpreted as a sign that they now are overpowered and must be subjected to a dog pile.
My request for tribute from LA Ermor has been ignored, and if tribute does not begin to flow soon, then we as a community of peaceful nations may have no choice but conclude LA Ermor is overpowered as well.
In the event LA Ermor is given the dreaded label "overpowered" then MA Ctis will coordinate the defense of the free world against these "overpowered" nations. And we call upon all peace loving nations everywhere to contribute gold, gems, magic items for the war effort.
MA Ctis will stockpile these items, gold, gems etc. for future use against these overpowered nations.

Any nation that expects the dead to pay tribute to them when we don't even share a border is crazy. Your message wasn't worthy of a response.
I'm sure you would love to form a coalition against us eh? That way other nations that can actually reach me can do the dirty work while you sit on your lizard tail.

That might be a design flaw in the map - perhaps there should be less water. On the otherhand, besides LA R'lyeh, I think traditionally water nations usually never win larger games - so maybe it will balance out.
I think that in order to really take on a land empire a water nation needs to be quite large - so I can't imagine them all living peacefully forever...

You guys aren't fooling us. We know that you Xietor and Velusion are just making noises to cover their plan of carving up their mutual neighbors.

Oh yeah, I am sure my timid neighbors like EA Lanka are just shaking in their boots at the thought of a lizard invasion.
MA Ctis is the last best hope of small free nations everywhere. Send donations now-do not delay. United we stand, divided we fall.
MA Man-we request a modest donation of 1a per turn for the war effort from your belligerent nation. Only contributions to the Peace Effort can restore your sullied reputation.

I won a large game with MA oceania, don't disregard any of the water nation as harmless.

Most other maps have few water provinces vs land provinces. This game has alot of water provinces with only 7 water nations, theres a definte bias towards the water nations created by the map.
Of the 7 water nations only EA R'lyeh and MA R'lyeh are weak. The other 5 are powerful to extremely powerful. LA Atlantis is not a true water nation but also appears to be benefiting from the large number of water provinces.
The map bias is made even more so by the fact that the water nations are being played by some of the best dominions players, Evilhomer/Frank Trollman/Amazhair/Tyrant have won 5 dominions games between them and are often in the shake up at the end.
Btw I am not complaining personally, just pointing out the facts so everyone is aware...

Re: Perpetuality - The 60 Player MegaGame (Signup)
Why is EvilHomer still posting? I could have sworn he posted awhile back that he was going to summer camp and had no internet access? And that a friend was playing his race.
Either it was an elaborate ruse designed to cast doubt as to whether his nation is overpowered, or he misbehaved and was booted out of camp!
