Heh, not SQL. Just my own ten thumbs. I was doing some work on the server and windows explorer has nagging little habit of making copys of files when all you are trying to do is drag them from one place to another. I thought I had deleted them all but apparently not. Should be all right now.

That's why I always right-click-and-drag, which provokes the popup menu that asks "move or copy?"
There again, I have my Win Explorer in XP setup to work just like the Win Explorer in my beloved (and much mourned) Win98SE, which it does not do by default.

Re: PBW status
I had to take the server down for a bit this afternoon. We are having a bit of a heat wave. Normally having the server out in my garage isn't a problem, but the last few days have been pretty hot and I just added a new hard drive. The combination seems to have pushed it past the point where I can keep the PC cooled off. I'm going to bring it into the house this evening and put it in a spare room. That should do the trick.

Re: PBW status
I sympathise. I moved my computer to our first floor because it was on the second floor and couldn't handle the high temperatures we had last summer.

Summer: a new victim in the computer realm!
(My GeForce4 Ti: vertical white bands covering ~1/4 of the screen... fortunately I still have my old GeForce2 MX!)

I think the ip changed again. I used some stuff Geo told me about last time and it can't be contacted.
