Re: Second War of Loemendor, game underway
I unsuccessfully tried to contact Jimbo (Ermor) by mail. I tend to concede too, unless he has a last chance plan.

Right. I guess I jumped to conclusions since it seemed the game was about to end.

Re: Second War of Loemendor, game underway
Sorry, been buried under a mound of work.
I'd be keen to play a few more turns. To me, the question is as follows:
When Mictlan and Machaka go to war, will Machaka pose a strong threat or will he be overwhelmed quickly?
If Machaka can make a go of it, I think that he and I (we are now best buddies are smacking each other around on the battlefield's of southern Agartha / northern Ermor for a bit) together with the mighty aquatic tentacled might of R'yleh and the apparently unkillable Agartha could probably turn it into a fun end game.
Of course, if Mictlan does to Machaka what he has done to pretty much everyone else (e.g. they explode in short order), well then the game is pretty clearly over :-)
What do people think? I've got my turn in, I'd like to at least see what happens for this turn.

Re: Second War of Loemendor, game underway
I've been taking the slow and steady road here for a while, and will continue with that. If I don't do a massive air drop on Machaka don't take that as a sign of weakness.

Ok, I cannot face Mictlan alone, but I think that a league of the remaining nations could balance his power for an interesting endgame. Ermor and Agartha already expressed their will to continue. What do you think Bullock? Should we ask for a sub (Tiavals maybe)?

Unfortunately I AI'd myself in my haste, really sorry about that. I'm beginning to wonder if you realize the situation my nation is in, with talk of subs and all.
The word paper tiger isn't enough to describe it.

It will mostly depend on how u do sunray. U will take the biggest blow with Ermor. I let you engage hostilities.

Re: Second War of Loemendor, game underway
Hi guys,
some change here. I often work abroad for short runs (it has sometimes caused me problems to send my turn BTW), but yesterday I've received a huge opportunity for a longer period, at least 3 months. Unfortunately it requests some urgent preparation at from Monday and I'll be unable to spend hours in plots and turn preparation
I'm sorry but I really cannot miss this carreer opportunity (I'm a legal 'gatekeeper' in the international finance - hectic time here). Dominions is a serious stuff, but this is even more important.
Should I find a sub ? do you think that Tiavals or Hooley Dooley could play Machaka ? even if they maybe have something against Mictlan
cheers

Re: Second War of Loemendor, game underway
If another player wants to sub, I am quite happy to push on.
Otherwise, if a sub is not possible, then I am prepared to salute my new Mictlanese masters :-)
